What is the Almost Local Gathering?

 

  • A 2-hour in-person gathering in Auckland exploring life abroad, identity, belonging, and the emotional experience of building a life away from home.
  • Each gathering begins with a guided reflection, conversation, or guest story — followed by a relaxed coffee circle to connect more informally.

This is not a workshop.
This is not a networking event.

It’s a space for real conversations, meaningful connections, and feeling less alone.
