The Almost Local Circle is a global community for people navigating life between cultures. Through conversations, gatherings, expert sessions and shared stories, we create a place where you can connect, reflect and belong—wherever life takes you.

Anyone who has experienced life between cultures—whether you’ve recently moved abroad, lived internationally for years, returned home, or simply feel that “home” is no longer one place.

How do Almost Local Gatherings work?
Almost Local Gatherings are relaxed, hosted conversations designed to help people connect through shared experiences.
Depending on the location, gatherings may take place in cafés, community spaces, or other welcoming venues.
Your membership includes access to the gathering itself. Food and drinks are purchased individually and everyone can choose what they’d like to order.

Can I attend if I'm not in New Zealand?
Absolutely.
The Almost Local Circle is designed to be a global community. While some gatherings happen in person, members can also participate through online conversations, guest expert sessions and members-only discussions.
